This year In Dialogue offered and still offers two different open international courses; one on strength based coaching and one on appreciative inquiry. These courses are open to anyone who has an interest in the subjects and are open to some funding options (to cover board, lodging, course fees and travel) of the European Commission; Comenius programme for secondary education staff and the Grundtvig programme for adult education staff.
This interest and the feedback we got made us plan new courses for early and mid 2011. We offer 4 international courses, each of five days with a maximum of around 20 participants per course. Narrative coaching

Narrative coaching claims that reality is socially constructed through the way we talk about things, and the choices we make when deciding what to talk about and what to leave unsaid. Through storytelling we create meaning of the experiences in our life. Strength based coaching tries to bring the focus person from the person he or she is to the person he or she wants to be. The road goes via goals, wishes, previous experiences of success, and resources. Rather that getting blinded by starring at problems and all the things that fail, we ask about what the person wants and what the person succeeds with.
